Save, spend and share jars

Clear jars let young children see money grow, and make choices with it.

How

1. Label three clear jars: save, spend and share
2. Split any money they get, such as 40% save, 50% spend and 10% share
3. Let them spend the spend jar on what they choose, even if you'd choose differently
4. Count the save jar together every week

The share jar

Let them choose where shared money goes: a cause they care about, a gift for someone, or a donation drive at school.
